Load bearing capacity

The load-bearing capacity of our reinforced concrete slot units has been calculated and verified taking into account the respective loading and installation conditions according to accepted good practice for reinforced concrete construction (DIN 1045-1). The special requirements of the Deutsche Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt) were taken into account. The checked structural calculations have been deposited with the DIBt. Road traffic loads according to load diagram SLW 60 were used for class D, loads on air traffic areas according to the recommendations of the working party of German commercial airports ("Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutscher Verkehrsflughäfen" - ADV) were used for Class F.

Class D 400 channels correspond to Type I to DIN EN 1433; i.e. they do not require a foundation to absorb loads in the installed condition to dissipate the loads that occur during use. Class F 900 channels correspond to Type M. They must be laid on a structurally calculated reinforced concrete foundation.
