Reinforced concrete slot channel »Pfuhler Rinne« receives official recommendation from the state Research Institute of Streets and Bridges in Warsaw

With the recommendation from the Research Institute of Streets and Bridges (IBDiM: Instytut Badawczy Dróg i Mostów), a subsidiary of the Polish Department of Infrastructure, Betonwerk Neu-Ulm is now able to score points with Polish construction companies and their clients.

The Technical Recommendation IBDiM Nr. RT/2010-03-0038 includes our reinforced concrete slot channels »Pfuhler Rinne« with various diameters and additional components, and other drainage system products. These include channels with intergrated kerbs, cleaning channels, manholes as well as curved and trapezoidal channels.

The Research Institute certifies, that the „Pfuhler Rinne“ and the other drainage system components comply with building requirements according to article 5 of the Polish Building Law as amended on 07. July 1994.

Corresponding to the IBDiM-recommendation, drainage systems built with our reinforced concrete slot units conform to following applications:

  • roadworks (vehicles and pedestrians)
  • civil engineering like bridges, viaducts, subways and tunnels – also in areas with railroad construction
  • airports: airstrips, taxiways and aprons areas.


The Technical Recommendation IBDiM Nr. RT/2010-03-0038 is valid until 17. March 2015.
